Do not be Alarmed - Go Tell
Have you ever walked into a room expecting one thing only to find something completely different?
Imagine this: you’re walking into a hospital room, prepared to say a final goodbye. You’ve braced yourself for the silence, the stillness, the overwhelming grief. But instead, you walk in and find laughter, joy, and the vibrant energy of life. You’d be stunned, wouldn’t you? Disoriented, even.
That’s a small glimpse of what the women experienced in Mark 16:1-8. They came to a tomb carrying spices and their sorrow, expecting to anoint a cold, lifeless body.
But what they found was not what they expected. Not even close. They found an empty tomb, an angel, and a message that shattered their expectations and changed the world forever.
In this lesson, we will discover how their story speaks directly to our lives, fears, and calling to proclaim Jesus's good news.
